Nurse no match for Anwar

Adil Anwar claimed the second edition of Prizefighter - the light-welterweights with a unanimous points victory over Tyrone Nurse.
The two Yorkshire fighters, who had actually sparred together in the past, had both impressively reached the final with some slick, counter-attacking boxing in the eight-man knockout event.
However, Huddersfield's Nurse decided on a change of tactics in the final, opting instead to go on the front foot and try to hunt down his rival.
All the change did, though, was play perfectly into Anwar's hands at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.
The 24-year-old from Leeds used his languid style to land the more obvious blows, including appearing to wobble his rival late on in the third round with a lightning-fast flurry, as he clinched a comfortable win on the scorecards.
He got the nod 30-27, 30-28, 29-28 from the three judges at ringside, clinching him the silver trophy and a cheque for £32,000.

Title shot

It might also be enough to get the 'Platinum Kid', who has moved down from welterweight, a shot at the British title currently held by Ashley Theophane.
"I was just out to entertain the crowd. Hopefully I did that," Anwar told Sky Sports.
"I thought I'd get a shot straight at the British title with Ashley Theophane, but we will sit down and see what is available."
Anwar had been in fine form throughout the night, beating former British champion Barry Morrison comfortably on points before getting the better of John Watson in the semi-finals, again thanks to the judges' scores.
Nurse himself had been far from shabby in defeating Young Mutley in the last four, holding off a late rally from his more experienced opponent to win 29-28 on all three cards.
In his opening fight he had benefited from Dale Miles suffering a nasty cut over his right eye that forced the bout to be stopped in the third. The injury was suffered following a clash of heads when the outcome was in the balance.
The only other fight not to go the distance came when Watson ruined home favourite Dean Harrison's night, the Liverpudlian forcing the referee to step in and stop their quarter-final inside the opening 90 seconds.
