On your bike, Mario? Milan want Balotelli but striker plans City stay... for 18 months

AC Milan are ready to make a summer swoop for Manchester City Mario Balotelli but the Italian striker is happy to put his return to Serie A on hold for at least 18 months.
Balotelli has endured a rollercoaster spell following his move from Inter Milan in 2010.
The 21-year-old, who scored 12 goals so far this season, is currently serving a four-match ban following his controversial stamp on Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker.

And it appears he's been enjoying his break from helping City pursue the Barclays Premier League title, pictured at the weekend riding a child's bike in North-West night spot Panacea.
Last month, his agent Mino Raiola hinted that Balotelli could make a move back to Italy if he continues to be victimised by referees in England.
But following reports in his homeland Italy that Milan are preparing a move to bring the striker back to the San Siro at the end of the season, Raiola said: 'As far as Mario is concerned, we have a strategy for him to stay at Manchester City for three years — which we are respecting in full.

'We hope that he will continue to play for them next season, even though you can never rule anything out.'
Indeed, City fans and manager Roberto Mancini alike will be hoping the star isn't on his bike anytime soon.
