The leather forecast is looking bleak... Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies hits the town wearing an ill-advised catsuit

It's a daring choice for any woman and has the potential for disaster no matter what you're figure. 

So full marks to Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies for at least attempting to pull off a faux leather catsuit, however her brave wardrobe choice didn't quite make the grade. 

The 18-year-old hit the town in Liverpool with her castmates from the show, including Gemma Merna and Annalise Appleton.

But her ill-advised outfit left her standing out like a sore thumb among the other ladies. 

The leather number did nothing to flatter her great figure - the unusual choker detail doing little to improve the catsuit. 

Stephanie matched the outfit with a pair of cream peep toe heels.

She joined the cast of Hollyoaks after appearing on BBC talent show Over The Rainbow. 

While she's been on the show, her musical career has taken a back seat but Stephanie insists she wants to carry on making music. 

In August 2010 she told Digital Spy: 'Obviously I'd still love to do musical theatre and I'm really into music - I write my own songs on the piano. But I'd love to stay in Hollyoaks for quite a while - longer than a year and hopefully two or three years.'

Meanwhile castmate Gemma Merna got it spot on with a pink shirt dress and white patent heels with a matching bag. 

The 27-year-old couldn't keep the smile off her face as she posed for the cameras during the gang's night out. 

Fellow Hollyoaks actress Annalise Appleton wore a velvet LBD and colour-coordinated her accessories to great effect.

She tied a pink belt around her waist with a lime green bag and shoes with colours matching both the belt and bag. 

Dani Lawrence, partner of Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones also joined in the fun. 

She wore a chic, simple midnight blue dress with a blazer jacket and red heels covered in spiked studs.
