Back to her old tricks: Security is forced to step in as Courtney Love stumbles and falls out of a pre-Golden Globe party

She is the rock 'n' roll hellraiser who is known for her outrageous antics.
But when it comes to Hollywood's Awards season, Courtney Love sometimes has the ability to slip on the sophisticated dress and settle down.
However she was back to her old tricks on Friday night, when the 47-year-old Hole front woman stumbled out of the W party at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

Wearing an odd combination consisting of a tiny leather dress paired with a grungy flannel shirt over the top, the Nobody's Daughter star looked worse for wear.
Emerging from the elegant and historical hotel, the singer and actress was luckily caught by a security guard and a friend when she nearly fell on the pavement.
Following the recovery, she them aimlessly threw her hands in the air and dangerously wandered onto the road with security once again forced to step in and get her under control.

Walking her to an awaiting car, a frightened and tired looking Courtney clutched on tightly to the man, burying her head into his chest.
Through her stockings bruises could be seen on her thin legs and her make-up appeared to get smeared all over her face.
The singer's wild antics come as Courtney recently jetted into LA from Bew York City for the Golden Globes parties.
Back in the Big Apple she has recently been dealing with her real estate issues.
In December she responded to reports that she was being kicked out of her $27,000-a-month rented abode after wrecking the decor and causing a fire inside the designer home.

The singer had been issued with an eviction notice after the owner accused her of wrecking the historical $8m home.
Donna Lyon, who owns the property, said Love caused more than $100,000 worth of damage since moving in and also owes $55,000 in unpaid rent.
Courtney fired back, explaining that she was told that she could make alterations to the decor.

I moved into this home only on the condition that I could paint it and when I leave, I'd restore it to exactly what it was," Love wrote in a post on xoJane.com.
'Since I darkened the door she (the owner) has been vicious to me and my staff.'
'Having a landlady tell you your Prelle, $2,000-a-yard fabric...is 'destructive' is totally weird,' she continues.
'My taste is artful and femme, but it's excellent. I'm 47, have bought and sold 14 houses (16 if you count Washington) and love doing them nicely and tripling the price; it's just never been a question, so this whole experience is weird.' as heck.

'Donna Lyon, the owner, came over the other day and, after informing me that "No one likes you, Courtney Love, NO ONE," which made me cry, and proceeded to knock over a photo (she's rather... large) of me with Dame Elizabeth Taylor and shatter the mirrored frame.'

Love took up residence into the 1827 built four storey home in New York's West Village 10 months ago.
As part of the rental agreement she was said to agreed not to alter the interior which includes many antiques and hand painted walls.
But Lyon claims Love has carried out her own decorations - and ruined much of the interior.
She said: 'Courtney has wallpapered and painted a large portion of the property without my consent.
'I learned about this when I wanted to sell the house and had photographs taken. They sent me the brochure and I said "This can't be my property". I came to New York to see it and was horrified by what had been done.
'The walls that had been hand painted and glazed were ruined, covered in damask wallpaper and ice blue paint.'
Lyon, who bought the four storey home through her Chicago based company Astor Street Partners, said Love was also to blame for a small fire in the house.
In June, Love scorched her hands after a candle set fire to a curtain.
Lyon told the New York Post: 'I got a call from her accountant who said "Miss Love is fine" which I was glad to hear, but I thought "What about the house".'
Love, who has battled drug addiction and is best known as a the ex wife of Nirvana star Cobain, was taken to court today over the unpaid rent and damages.
Love did not attend, rather her lawyer, who requested that the case be thrown out.
He argued that Love's rent was paid up until January 15th, and that she had actually made improvements to the property during her 10-month stay.
The case now lays in Lyon's hands. She has until Jan 13th to respond to the motion to drop the case.
