BRIT Awards 2012: Kate Bush is up against the likes of Florence Welch (above)
Kate Bush first won a coveted BRIT Award thirty-three years ago and is once again nominated for the Best British Female Solo Artist category.
The Wuthering Heights singer will be up against Jessie J, Florence and The Machines, Laura Marling and Adele in the highly contested category.
The 53-year-old star’s last BRIT Award win took place before category rival Adele was born. She has won three times before in 1979, 1980 and 1987.
