Heads up music lovers! Ed Sheeran and Jessie J are in cahoots to get a genuine collaboration underway...
The pair, both of whom have been nominated for the Brit Awards earlier this week, would make an excellent musical coupling.
"Jessie and I are talking about a duet" confirmed Sheeran, who has been nominated for Best British Single, Best British Album, Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Male.
"I don't want either of us simply to feature on the other person's song. I want it to be a genuine collaboration where we both sing equal amounts."
Ooh, was that a dig at Rihanna and Eminem? Quite possibly. But, more excitingly, this collaboration sounds like a completely plausible idea. Both singers have got a pretty large following and both, as proven by the fact that their names have made the Brits nominations list, are uber talented.
When you add that to the fact that Jessie J's 'Price Tag' duet with BoB, meanwhile, was the biggest-selling collaboration of 2011, it's absolutely no wonder Sheeran is desperate to get her in the studio with him.
